Little annoyances

I've discovered some items in my closet that are impossible to wear if you live alone.  Exhibit A: Bracelets with clasps.  If I'm trying to wear the bracelet on one arm, that only leaves one hand to try to manoeuvre a clasp and put it on the right link on the chain.  Not to mention that the links are super tiny, which makes it even more of a challenge.

Then there are some items that are just plain impossible.  Let's turn our attention now to Exhibit B: The faux collar.  Suddenly, it has given me something new to be (self-) conscious about- my fat neck.  Yeah, my faux collar is too small for my neck, so it rises up and won't stay put near any shirt's neckline.  So if faux collars are gonna stay a thing, could we please adopt the system of neck sizing?

  2. Bracelets with clasps are the WORST. If I can ever get them done up I feel like a champ, but I rarely do, ha.

  5. Haha, I know the feeling :D I used to live alone for so long that I invented the tricks for the bracelets at least, if not else, I'll use my teeth :D. Never wore faux collars tho.

  16. Haha, yes it is horrible when you cant put certain things on yourself! I have a few dresses that button up at the back and I was trapped in one the other day for a few hours until a housemate came home to rescue me!

  18. hehe eventually you will perfect the clasp bracelet trick. It doesn't look pretty, but you can manage it if you sit down and push your wrist against your leg or something to keep the bracelet in place while you fiddle with the clasp :)
