I started this segment in the summer where I would hypothetically spend all the money from my last paycheck. Well, after paying tuition, I didn't even have any hypothetical money to spend. But the account balance has finally recovered and I'm back for more hypothetical spending!
Ottawa Fashion Week is soon approaching. As a staff member, I'm required to dress in all black. Sure, it could be fun mixing and matching skirts, pants, and blouses...but I'm kinda lazy and would rather just throw on a dress so I don't have to think. These dresses from The Outnet particularly caught my eye. Especially the last one. I wouldn't wear it to the shows, but there are a few media parties I'd be happy to attend in that! Also, as much of a fan as I am of the classic LBD, I enjoy the little edgy uniqueness to this set, whether it be in the texture or straps.
1 2 3 4 5
And I would have $42.33 left of my paycheck if I spent my whole paycheck on all these dresses. Usually I try to spend all of it, but even the thought of hypothetically spending everything scares me. Gotta stray away from being an actual starving student!

To blow a paycheck, again!
And welcome to another exciting segment of 'To Blow A Paycheck"! This paycheck was slightly less than the last one, so we have less hypothetical spending money to work with. But hey, who's complaining. To refresh your memory, I'm listing items that I would want to spend my whole paycheck on. But do note that I barely spend a dime (unless you count bills, rent, & tuition).
1. Nikon D3100
2. Ivory crop lace halter blouse
3. Fab headband set
4. F6811 sunglasses
5. dear creatures- women's hannah dress
6. Mohawk black moccasin fringe ankle boots
7. Coral triple peter pan collar top
8. Moto white letter print hotpants
Who said that all my items I'd blow my paycheck on had to be fashion based? I totally want an SLR camera so I can ask people to take street style photos and not seem weird. Seriously, there's something mildly creepy about doing that with a point-and-shoot.
And if I spent money on all these items, I would have $0.74 left from my paycheck.

To blow a paycheck
Welcome to the first edition of "To blow a paycheck"! Here, I'll be listing some items that I'd buy right now if I was to completely spend my paycheck. I'm going to take some 'The Price is Right' inspiration here and try to get as close as I can get to the actual number without going over. Gotta admit, some of these items were fillers to try to get close to the whole paycheck, but ended up being a great shopping want anyway.
1. Nude Lace Corsage Headband
2. Chinti and Parker cropped Organic Cotton Jacket
3. Paul & Joe prasline asymmetric wool-crepe dress
4. Alexander Wang double-breasted linen-blend jacket
5. Kenneth Jay Lane painted Enamel Necklace
6. Jeffrey Campbell Lita lace up boots suede taupe
7. BE & D Woodstock woven-panel patent-leather bag
8. Adam high-waisted paperbag shorts
9. Topshop Stripe full skirt
...Too bad I'm a saver. And realistically, I'd never spend the money on most of the items on this list. It's nice to dream though!
And how close did I get to blowing my whole paycheck? I'd have $1.50 left.
