It's around that time of the year again. Autumn.  This means that we get ugly transition pieces from people that can't let go of summer and those who want to hide from winter in layers of potato sacks.  Seriously, show of hands- who's seen someone sporting UGGs with short shorts?

In today's horrendous "fashion", we've got animal-esque items.  First up is furry boots from Zara.  So, I didn't know that having chipmunk feet was in style.  This pair makes that short-shorts-UGGs girl look like she should belong on the runway.  And yes yes, those animal hats and mittens are adorable, but I think it's the funniest thing when I see someone in a cute hat toting a Coach bag (or something of the such).  Please stick to one trend niche- they don't mix.  Aren't we getting a little overboard with the fur and animal thing?

Okay, I guess this below is a little better, but you're borderlining on yeti.  Just don't go overboard with the fur and animal stuff, and you'll be fine.

  1. Oh gosh, the animal hat thing is a huge pet peeve of mine! I had to chuckle at the title of this post too, too good.

  2. So adorable. No sure if I would wear it out during the day but it does have a wonderful endearing and fuzzy appeal!

    Lots of love from Sydney,

  3. Hah! Love this post. I never really understood the fur thing, to be honest. But that jacket? You're bang on with the Yeti reference.

  4. Hahahaha love this.

As far as the last picture goes, I think that jacket is actually pretty great. BUT I've seen so many horrible, terrible, hideous faux fur vests & jackets that look like armpit hair. ugh. Like, if you're going to do it right!

  5. I honestly couldn't agree more. Uggs and fluffy animal print pieces are nice - ONLY in moderation. I hate to see people going overboard on these things. Thanks for sharing! xoxo, Veena <3

  6. i absolutely love your blog. xx

  7. Ok, is it weird that I like the yeti look???

  8. I have those mittens and I love them to pieces! :)
